Rob photographed our wedding in June 2011. Getting the right photographer is more about finding the right person rather than the snaps they take. From the very first meeting right through the pre-wedding shoot and the wedding itself, Rob made us feel relaxed (my wife is not very comfortable in front of cameras!) and at ease.

He made the whole photo process of the day very easy, relaxing and fun.

If you are thinking of booking him, do it! I wouldn't recommend looking anywhere else!

A great big thank you from myself and my wife for all your help and advice throughout the planning stages and all the way through our big day. You really put us at ease, especially myself as I was unsure about having my photo taken so much. Your skill and experience really did shine through and on the day we were unaware of you taking a lot of them, but you got the most amazing images. They were just as we wanted - feeling less formal and posed and more in the moment of what was happening.

Your help that went above and beyond, however, did not go un-noticed, from talking to the other guests and making them feel more at ease to helping the mums and nans along the slippery snowy paths without falling!

A lot of our guests have commented how great you were on the day, as well as the quality and diversity of the images you captured, from the ceremony to the wedding party snowball fight!

Rob did an amazing job with our photos. He captured every moment and did shots I was not even aware of !

He was just right - not in your face at all - but when he needed to gather groups together he did this with such a good humoured way that everybody loved him.

He was efficient at every point of the process and helped us decide what we should go for (we had no idea!!) - his experience definitely helped the day go without a hitch.

The end results are amazing better than we had expected. Absolutely FAB!!!

He is so friendly and puts you instantly at ease, we would totally recommend Rob to anyone who wants their day to be captured in a special way.

What a delight working with Rob!
Andy and I were looking for a photographer with a relaxed approach who could put us both at ease on what was likely to be one of the most stress inducing day of our lives (and one of the happiest as well!) and this is exactly what we found.
 
Andy will, by no means, be ashamed to say that he hates having his photo taken and so was understandably quite nervous about the prospect of having a camera in his face all day, but after the wedding he commented to me that he hardly noticed Rob was around happily snapping away!
 
A testament to Rob is to say that one of my all time favourite photos of Andy was taken by him and each time I look at the photo I fall in love with my handsome hubby all over again...
 
The entire service offered by Rob from the first meeting, the pre-wedding photo shoot (where I think we were both notoriously hard to relax!), the beautiful day itself, the stunning wedding album and my Trash The Dress shoot, was exceptional and we have no qualms about recommending him to friends - in fact we have already done just that!!

“They are some of the nicest, tastefully taken photos I've ever seen!”. That is what one of our friends said after seeing our wedding photos, and we could not agree more.
   
Colin and I instantly took a liking to Rob at our very first meeting. Rob was very friendly and approachable with a great sense of humour which made us feel relaxed and confident that our wedding day would be captured as we wanted.
A few weeks before the big day, we met Rob at the venue and did a "recci" of potential locations. Rob was very accommodating and even climbed walls to get the shots we wanted.
 
The big day arrived and Rob delivered what he promised. With his friendly, calm and fun approach, Rob was able to engage with all our guests making it easy to relax for the photos. Many family and friends commented on just how friendly Rob was.
On reviewing the photos we were amazed with the quality. Rob had really captured the day beautifully and certainly told the story of our wedding.

Myself and Jason would just like to say the biggest thank you to you for our beautiful wedding photography. Everything from the pre-wedding meeting to the actual day were so professional and organised, that we were able to just sit back, relax and enjoy every moment without any stress at all.

As for the finished product, we were absolutely speechless! We went through every emotion possible looking at the photos. They made us laugh and cry, and they were all so good that we are now struggling trying to pick which ones are our favourites. It was a happy day for both of us and I think this feeling has been captured in the photographs themselves - they tell a great story.

We hired Rob to photograph our recent wedding. He briefed us thoroughly on his services before the day and also arranged a walk-around at the venue to confirm locations for the photos that we wanted. On the day, nothing was too much trouble for him and many of our guests commented on his positive & friendly attitude, marshalling the adults with humour and discretion as well as cajoling a posse of strong-willed 3-4 year-olds to stand still just long enough to be photographed. He formed the shots that we wanted quickly and just got on with the task without any fuss or delay. The full portfolio of pictures was supplied on DVD disks and we’ve frankly been overwhelmed by the task of making selection for the final album. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rob to anyone looking for a competent, creative and friendly wedding photographer.

Rob has the ability to disappear into the background and yet still produce photos that make it appear as though he was part of the event or working in the room alongside those he’s taking images of. This unique ability means we are extremely happy not only with the work he produces for us, but also that his style fits in extremely well with the environments we’ve placed him into – namely working hospital departments.
 
He also understands very quickly what it is a client requires and very rarely has to ask questions during a photo shoot. As we often use him during “live” events, this means we can get on with the job in hand and he gets on with his! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Rob as a top rate photographer.
